Stefan Priebsch is a Co-Founder and Principal Consultant with The PHP Consulting Company (thePHP.cc). He holds a degree in computer science and is author of various books and technical articles. As a consultant, he helps customers make better use of PHP, with a focus on software architecture, design patterns, and tools and methods. He served on the advisory board of International PHP Conference in 2008, and is a frequent speaker at PHP conferences all over the world.

Some facts about Stefan:

  • Started using PHP because he was unable to read Perl code.
  • Author of “php|architect’s
    Guide to PHP 5 Migration”
    and various other books.
  • Used to be in a heavy metal band, so he just had to be part of CodeWorks, just for the “tour of rockstars” element (unfortunately we have no photographic evidence of this)
  • Singlehandedly brought back the wearing of the suit at geek conferences.

So what are people saying about Stefan?

I had the pleasure of working with Stefan on a 2 part PHP Webinar series. Stefan is very knowledgable, and presented an excellent Webinar. Very professional, and very pleasant to work with. — Nili Gafni, Marketing Programs Manager, Zend Technologies, Inc.

Stefan will be co-presenting a Code Review tutorial as well as an in-depth lecture of OOP and design patterns. We are very happy to have Stefan with us!
