Despite Skype’s best attempts at sabotage, Marcus paints an interesting story of how he became involved in PHP, learned to manage really large installation through his work at Emma and got inspired to create the upcoming Enterprise LAMP, which will be hosting its first conference in Nashville, TN, in just a few weeks.

• First of all, apologies for the odd noises. We recorded this live at the Ameircan Airlines Training Centre while our CW09 reception was being set up. The centre is very close to the airport (hence the occasional airplane noise overhead) and someone’s cell phone was driving our microphone nuts.
