The Design
Between the late 1950′s and the early 1990′s, a magazine was printed titled “CARtoons“. Many growing up during that era remember CARtoons for its over-the-top caricatures and artwork that included iron-on transfers and fold out posters.
For the very first Elephpant Ware design, we commissioned our artist to pay homage to the CARtoons style. What she came up with was awesome. It captures the CARtoon spirit while showing the powers and drive of the PHP language.
This is a limited sale: there will only be one run made of this design. The design will be on sale between November 7th, 2011 and December 14th, 2011. The shirts will be shipped in early January and then the design will be retired.
The shirt
All great t-Shirts start with a quality garment. When we decided to produce Elephpant Ware, we knew that it had to start with a high-quality shirt—something that looks good and will last. We chose a Pine Green Hanes Beefy T as the base for this exclusive item of clothing to provide a lush look and luxurious feel.
Emblazoned on the front of this shirt is the Elephpant Ware logo. The back, of course, carries the main design.
