Query profiling

Posted by on March 12, 2010

Do you need to run query profiling on a php-mysql application and find that the MySQL Query Profiler is too restrictive (since profile information is lost when the session is closed)? Open PHP MyProfiler is open and available for download from http://www.php-trivandrum.org/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php?id=phpmyprofiler.zip.

You can read more about the latest release on on the PHP Trivandrum site. Highlights include that it helps make profiling easy to do on shared hosting environments, and it now supports PHP’s mysqli extension (although they have maintained compatibility with PHP’s mysql extension as well). Their Profile Sampler provides an easy way to upload your profile logs for analysis and view a full profile of your application.
